So, man, I’ve had a crazy couple months. I’m pretty sure it has been just about that long since I’ve talked to any of you. So, here’s the quick and dirty version of what I’ve been up to:
1) I’m engaged!
2) I got a job in the Bay Area in order to join my fiancé who has been living here for a few years now. What am I doing now that I’ve departed as owner of Blush Catering, you ask? I’m working in chocolate. I’ve reached Willa Winkle status.
3) I moved to the Bay Area. Moving with three kids and all their stuff is kind of like going to the dentist for a good cleaning. All the unnecessary bits have to be removed, and tossed out. And then you get through the grinding task of…actually…it’s nothing like going to the dentist. Moving is WAY worse than that, and I hate it, but it’s over, and so…
Now that my life has normalized to some degree, here’s what I’m working on now (I’m so excited!):
1) Going to work
2) Cooking for my family on the regs instead of bringing them home leftovers from work.
3) Relaxing on weekends
4) Compiling and sharing all my gluten free baking recipes here for lots of feedback. Please talk to me about the things you try!
